Follow these directions exactly, when you use your TURTLE for the very first time.
The very first time you use your Turtle you must allow a full 20 minutes, to acclimate the product to your body. This is most important, and will ensure that your Turtle will perform at an optimal level.
First, find a firm chair with a full back, like an office desk chair or a kitchen chair. Make sure that you are ready to sit, without moving or getting up, for a full 20 minutes. Place your Turtle behind you as shown in the color image, in the seated position of the instruction sheet. The Turtle should be compressed a little during use, so be sure to lean forward as you position it behind you and then sit up to feel if the Turtle is in the right spot. If necessary, lean forward again and re-position. When properly placed in the lower back, your Turtle will make your stomach stick out a bit. You should feel pressure on the area of your lower back that usually gets sore and tired.
Remember, the TURTLE is not a comfort item, but rather a powerful pain treating device. It will feel strange at first. This is normal.
After sitting still for 20 minutes, stand up and feel the relief!!! |
