Sitting at a Chair

When seated, your back should be pressed firmly against the Turtle so that it is partially compressed.

Relief of Neck Pain

Several customers use the Turtle to provide effective relief of neck pain, caused by injury or stress. Simply place the Turtle behind the neck as shown in the photo, lean back slightly and relax. The Turtle need not be compressed when treating neck pain.

Driving in the Car

Many customers love to use their Turtle in the car. Adjust the seat further back than normal, and push with your feet to compress the Turtle a little extra.

Lying in Bed or on the Floor

Your Turtle may also be used while lying in bed or on the floor. It is very important, however, to keep the knees bent as shown in the photo, when using the Turtle in the lying down position. Failure to do so may result in soreness caused by an aggressive stretching of ligaments and tendons. If your back becomes sore or tender after use, then the seated position is recommended and will provide more effective results.

The Turtle™ is a device, which is intended to treat pain. The Turtle™ is not a medical device, nor is it intended to be a substitute for professional medical care. It may not be suitable for all people, and if in doubt, consult your physician. Read and follow all instructions carefully. Discontinue use if you experience an increase in pain, dizziness or headache. While the Turtle™ has been proven in test trials to be a very effective pain relieving tool, it is most important that any person suffering from back pain be examined and diagnosed by a qualified medical doctor, before beginning any kind of treatment. Failure to do so could result in permanent injury, due to an alleviation of pain symptoms, without the correction, of what may be a serious underlying condition, requiring a doctor's intervention.
